About Project FTLOA
FTLOA means “For The Love Of Art”.
Project FTLOA started on the first week of November 2009 in its Twitter account as a collaboration between two members of deviantART, harvest-jacobina and hybirdd.
The project’s name was largely inspired (and thus taken) from the tagline of #dAmnU, one social group for different types of artists in deviantART. The project went to a state of inactivity after neither of the two were able to update the Twitter account, though efforts are now being made to revive it.
Project FTLOA has set its own goals, mainly to:
- Provide a showcase of art falling under different categories in microblogging sites and communities, thus giving these types of art and artists more exposure outside online art communities.
- Expose a wider amount of internet users to different types of art and make them appreciate art more.
